“NCC increased its grant monies from $570,000 in 2020 to $678,000 in 2021 — by 21% — awarded to young post-doctorates who don’t have many other avenues of support. The innovative studies we fund are helping to advance our progress in immunotherapy and other cancer treatments.”

We want to assure you that we are working on all fronts to continue to fulfill our mission during this challenging time.

Donate To Advance Cancer Research Today

We rely on your generosity to fund more and more new scientists conducting research in our Program areas. National Cancer Center and everyone afflicted with cancer needs your continuing financial support. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Please stay indoors, stay safe, and stay well. We will come through this period together!

– Regina English, Executive Director

“I have proudly served as Chair of National Cancer Center’s Scientific Advisory Board for 34 years.  NCC’s mission “ to fund basic scientific cancer research” is essential. It fills a critical gap by providing financial support to promising young scientists, post-doctoral researchers who are often overlooked by private, governmental and institutional funders.  Year after year, NCC reviews and underwrites with grants exceptional studies, basing our award decisions on the highest national evaluation standards — those of the National Institutes of Health.  The NCC fellowship award recipients demonstrate great progress in advancing our knowledge for the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.  The goal:  finding a cure.”
