New impressive chemotherapy trials conducted at Memorial Sloan Kettering extend the life of metastatic breast cancer patients for six months

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]New chemotherapy trials conducted at Memorial Sloan Kettering extend the life of metastatic breast cancer patients for six months. The results of the trials were so impressive that research scientists received a standing ovation when they presented their data at an oncology conference in Chicago.
Though National Cancer Center (NCC) did not fund this particular research trial, NCC does fund innovative studies into the genetics of breast cancer in search of improved treatments and therapies. This year, National Cancer Center funded two breast cancer research projects: one at University of Pittsburgh; and the other at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
